The Township of Adams in cooperation with the Council of the Borough of Mars are working together to coordinate a possible merger. Information and announcements that come from these discussions will be posted to this webpage to educate residents on the progress of this project.

Recent Announcements:
9/17/2026: The elected officials of Mars Borough and Adams Township will be holding a public informational meeting to discuss the potential merger between the two municipalities. The meeting will be held Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the Adams Township Municipal Building, 690 Valencia Road, Mars, PA 16046 at 6 p.m. Residents and taxpayers are encouraged to attend. Please RSVP in advance at adamstwp.org.

8/12/2026: Announcement of Fifth Joint Public Meeting – Elected officials from both the Borough of Mars and the Township of Adams will host the Fifth joint public meeting on Thursday, October 1st , 2026, at 6 p.m. The location for this meeting has not yet been determined. More information will be posted in the weeks leading up to the meeting date.
