The Township of Adams in cooperation with the Council of the Borough of Mars are working together to coordinate a possible merger. Information and announcements that come from these discussions will be posted to this webpage to educate residents on the progress of this project.

1/22/2026: Announcement of Second Joint Public Meeting – Elected officials from both the Borough of Mars and the Township of Adams will host a second joint public meeting on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Twelve Oaks Mansion 160 Scharberry Ln, Mars Pa, 16046. Officials from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development will be present. More information will be posted in the weeks leading up to the meeting date.
